Friday through Monday and for groups by reservation Wednesday and Thursday. The park is closed on Tuesdays, New Year?s, Thanksgiving and Christmas days.
Admission to the park is $1.00 per person age 6 and over; under 6 are free.

Description: Kick up your heels as Mudhole Control plays traditional American music while Rae Newoman calls the steps of traditional American folk dances. Dances such as circles, squares, contras, and waltzes were all the rage in the 1800s, so come dance like it’s 1891!
6pm, live music and dancing from 6:30-10pm.
No pets or alcohol please.
$10.00 – 10 years and older;

Description: Enjoy the Fourth at an old-fashioned picnic on the grounds of this 19th century pioneer home site. Hosted by The Barnacle Society, this event features lawn games, kite-making, knot-tying demonstrations, and more! The house and grounds are decorated in traditional July 4th bunting, as when Commodore Munroe?s family lived here. The public is invited to join the staff and volunteers by wearing a period costume. Bring a blanket and a picnic lunch and enjoy the day?s celebration.
$5 – 12 years and older;
$2 – age 6-12;
under 6 – free

Situated on the shore of Biscayne Bay, The Barnacle Historic State Park features one of the oldest homes in Miami-Dade County in its original location. Home to pioneer boat designer Ralph Middleton Munroe, The Barnacle and surrounding grounds offer visitors a rare glimpse at a bygone era. Group tours available Wednesday and Thursday by advance reservation.
