Walenstein Symphony Orchestra
Walenstein Symphony Orchestra is composed of some of the most talented musicians in South Florida. Its primary objectives are to present high quality musical performances to the residents and visitors of South Florida, to increase the number of audience members to classical music through our outreach program, to provide educational orchestra training and performance opportunities to students grades 5 through college in order that they may be prepared to enter a career as a professional member of a symphony orchestra, and to offer tailored concert performances for children of prospective mothers 1 year before birth to 3 years of age, thus enhancing the Walenstein Symphony Orchestra education program for psychological, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of babies and toddlers.

What makes this orchestra unique is that all guest solo artists are extremely gifted prospect professional soloist; that is middle, high school, and college students; giving them the opportunity to perform with a professional orchestra and exposure to the public. Unfortunately, nonprofessional music students rarely have that opportunity, which is critical to musical development.
