Kid Review: No Place Like Miami Seaquarium

March 1st, 2008  |  by  |  Published in FunBlog, Reviews By Kids  |  2 Comments

One of my favorite places to go is Miami Seaquarium. I encourage you to go there. You should include these three things on your list of what to bring:

  1. A water bottle (or two)
  2. A sun hat and sunglasses
  3. A bathing suit (I’ll tell you why in a minute…)

You can buy a pass that lasts one year at the registration desk. After you get into the theme park, you will pass a gift shop that sells all kinds of beanie babies: manatees, killer whales and other animals. The registration people will probably give you a list of all the the shows. They have many things to do like an easter egg hunt and education programs.

At Miami Seaquarium you can get all kinds of yummy snacks:

  • Arepas (a Colombian snack)
  • Pizza (an Italian snack)
  • Frozen lemonade
  • Fountain drinks
  • Hot dogs

I could go on and on!

Miami Seaquarium also has many shows. There is the Top Deck Dolphin show, Killer Whale show (Lolita), the Flipper show, Manatee presentation and Sea Lion show. There is also a place where you can get to feed fish and parrots and see flamingos, reptiles and SHARKS!

By the way, the reason why I said to bring your bathing suit is because at the Lolita show if you sit on the first six rows then you will get soaking wet. There is also a play ground with water jets for you to cool off.

Have fun at Miami Seaquarium!
